Many respondents are also resistant to new development in their communities, with 73% expressing disinterest due to concerns over overdevelopment. This skepticism is compounded by low trust in local governments' ability to manage growth effectively, with 57% rating their management as "Fair" or "Poor." As scrutiny of real estate development intensifies and calls for transparency grow louder, the survey suggests that developers face significant hurdles in securing community support for new projects. To overcome these challenges, developers must not only navigate complex regulations but also address public concerns and skepticism.
