lorida boasts an impressive number of real estate agents, with over 220,000 members according to the National Association of Realtors. To help navigate this crowded market, USA Today and Statista collaborated on a list of Florida's top-performing real estate offices. The "Florida's Best Real Estate Agencies 2024" list features 500 top-performing offices in alphabetical order, based on key metrics such as revenue, price performance, sales volume, and success rate.
The analysis involved over 40,000 unique IDs from residential real estate offices registered in an MLS system. Large companies like RE/MAX, Coldwell Banker, and Berkshire Hathaway appear multiple times on the list. The winners can be searched by county, city, or geographic region, with Broward County having the most winners (51) followed closely by Hillsborough (50).
Florida's popularity as a destination for real estate agents stems from its status as one of the fastest-growing states in the country, with a population exceeding 23 million. The state's housing market remains strong, with single-family sales holding steady and inventory growing across all types of housing.
According to Florida Realtors' chief economist Brad O'Connor, the statewide median sales price for single-family existing homes was $411,638 in August, down slightly from last year. The real estate industry accounted for 24.1% of the state's gross product in 2023, with a total economic impact of $123,000 per typical home sale.
