    Terravet Real Estate Solutions, a specialist in veterinary properties, has purchased Eastern Animal Hospital in Southeast Baltimore for $7.75 million. The 16,433‑sq‑ft facility, built in 2019, offers urgent, emergency, dental, behavioral, diagnostic and lab services, plus an on‑site pharmacy.

    “Transforming an idle site into a fully functional veterinary hospital is exactly the outcome we aim for,” CEO Daniel Eisenstadt said. “Eastern Animal Hospital sets a new standard for urban veterinary real estate and exemplifies the long‑term, value‑driven assets we seek.”

    The deal expands Terravet’s portfolio to over 1.5 million sq‑ft of veterinary real estate nationwide and adds the hospital to its private REIT, which already holds more than 650,000 sq‑ft of purpose‑built medical facilities. The acquisition follows recent purchases in California, Georgia, Mississippi and Washington.
