HGTV Cancels "Married to Real Estate" After Four Seasons

M
ike Jackson and Egypt Sherrod have revealed that HGTV has canceled their show Married to Real Estate after four seasons. The couple announced the news on social media, stating they had received it unexpectedly upon returning from a family trip.

"We're grateful for four incredible seasons, our amazing crew, and supportive fans," they said in a joint statement. "We're also thankful that our businesses continue to thrive, and most of all, we're still married to real estate – and each other."

Married to Real Estate followed Sherrod, a real estate broker and designer, and Jackson, an expert builder, as they helped Atlanta families find homes with potential for transformation into dream homes. The show was part of HGTV's lineup, which also featured Sherrod in previous series like Property Virgins and Flipping Virgins.

Sherrod hinted at more to come, saying "not all setbacks are what they seem" and that some blessings can be disguised as challenges. She encouraged fans to stay tuned for further updates.
