ashington indie joins eXp; 2 Florida broker-owners team up under Christie's; veteran NYC agent moves to Compass; 2 Denver teams join Coldwell Banker; more.
Spokane-based 4 Degrees Real Estate, a Washington state independent brokerage that generated over $306 million last year, has joined eXp Realty. The firm's founders, Joel and Jordan Tampien, along with co-owner Steve James, said they were drawn to eXp's cutting-edge technology, collaboration tools, and long-term financial benefits. "We are confident that this move will help our agents scale their businesses while maintaining the values that built 4 Degrees in the first place," they stated.
Florida-based brokers Beau Blankenship and Jacob Watkins have teamed up to launch Christie's International Real Estate Emerald Coast, a new affiliate covering the upscale 30A region of the Florida panhandle. The joint venture includes 130 agents and has already reported over $10 million in sales volume. Blankenship said the move will help his team meet the rising expectations for services in the growing market.
Veteran NYC agent Eileen Foy, who has generated over $1 billion in sales volume throughout her career, is joining Compass with her team of three. Foy cited Compass' intuitive and innovative technology as a key factor in her decision to make the switch.
Two Denver teams, The New Door Group and The Ceretto Group, are moving to Coldwell Banker Realty from Compass. Amy Ballain leads The New Door Group, which includes 14 agents and a director of operations, while Kris Ceretto heads The Ceretto Group, known for its deep roots in the community.
Coldwell Banker Warburg has added two new agents in New York City: Veronique Perrin and Jarrod Duncan. The Agency is expanding its footprint in the Northeast with a new office on Long Island's North Fork. Engel & Völkers is opening a new shop in Breckenridge, Colorado, led by Jim Cavoto and Robert Tait.
