eal Estate launched its Atlas anniversary tour last night in Los Angeles, debuting a new guitarist. James Richardson—known for touring and recording with MGMT—has joined the band as a full‑time member after Julian Lynch departed. The group posted on Instagram, welcoming @jomdry to the Real Estate family and praising his work on classic records. Richardson has been with MGMT since *Congratulations* and has also contributed to projects by Cameron Winter, Snail Mail, Cola Boyy, and others. Lynch had joined in 2016 following the dismissal of founding guitarist Matt Mondanile amid misconduct allegations. The North American tour will continue through October.
