Real Housewives of New York" star Erin Lichy is returning to the Eklund-Gomes Team at Douglas Elliman, where she previously worked before joining the cast of the Bravo series last year. Lichy left the top-producing team in April to co-found her own brokerage with Compass agent Alexandra Hedaya, but it appears the partnership has ended.
Lichy's new venture, the Erin + Alex Team, aimed to focus on luxury new developments and onboard junior agents to handle deals in the lower seven-figure range. However, the reason behind the split between Lichy and Hedaya is unclear, with neither agent commenting on the matter.
Hedaya will remain at Compass, heading her own four-agent group known as Team Hedaya, and plans to onboard two more agents. Her current listings include a duplex co-op in Lenox Hill asking $4.3 million and a $3 million condo in the Lower East Side.
Lichy's return to Elliman comes amidst significant growth for the Eklund-Gomes Team, which has welcomed five new agents in New York, including Aaron Ross, as well as two in California and five in Florida. The team now has around 23 people in South Florida, with Fredrik Eklund attributing its success to an "explosive new development pipeline."
Lichy was among a wave of former Elliman agents who joined Compass between January and September this year, including Maggie Marshall, who previously co-led a top-performing team at Elliman. The Eklund-Gomes Team has around 100 agents and is not looking to grow much bigger than that.
