raci Powell, a 44-year-old Philadelphia resident and accomplished real estate professional, passed away at her home on May 22. The cause of death has not been determined by her family. As owner and broker of Realty One Group Purpose, Ms. Powell was known for her exceptional skills in connecting with clients and communities throughout the city and surrounding counties.

    With a background in science and math, Ms. Powell's career in real estate and financial planning seemed like a natural fit. Her market knowledge impressed clients, who praised her as "a blessing" and "a lifesaver." She was also recognized for her innovative approach to real estate, emphasizing personalized attention and genuine care.

    Ms. Powell's professional journey included stints at Mosaic Brokerage Group, Sell Fast Realty, and Ronin Acquisitions Inc., where she held various roles including vice president, managing partner, and sales representative. Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to become a successful business owner and broker, embracing independence as a key aspect of her career.

    As a public speaker and community volunteer, Ms. Powell was dedicated to championing generational wealth in Black communities through real estate. She co-hosted the Black Wealth Project podcast and shared professional advice on social media platforms. Her commitment to empowering young people led her to serve on the executive board at Inspiring Minds Philadelphia, a nonprofit organization that supports children's education.

    Colleagues and friends remembered Ms. Powell as "a passionate advocate," "a dedicated leader," and "a cherished member of our organization." They praised her leadership, vision, and generosity, which left a lasting impact on everyone she worked with. Born on December 24, 1980, in Philadelphia, Ms. Powell was a standout swimmer in her youth and graduated from George Washington Carver High School of Engineering and Science in 1998.

    Ms. Powell is survived by her mother, father, two brothers, and other relatives. Memorial services will be held at the Met Philadelphia on June 13, with donations in her name benefiting Inspiring Minds Philadelphia.
