appy New Year! Despite the shortened work week, our office recorded 1,051 deeds, including 228 trust deeds (loans) and 173 warranty deeds (property sales). The total value of loans was $70.74 million, with eight exceeding $1 million. Notably, Truist Bank backed the largest loan at $3.2 million.
Warranty deeds worth $84.56 million made up 173 of the total recordings, with 14 valued over $1 million. A notable commercial property transfer was PureMagic Car Wash in the Grassy Creek Shopping Center, sold by Puremagic Car Wash of Alcoa LLC to Darlington Investment Group LLC for $4.9 million.
Other high-value sales included:
* 6262 Clinton Hwy., a small apartment/hotel building, sold from CCC Management LLC to Bradford Evolve Treatment Services LLC for $4.5 million
* 2811 John Deere Drive in East Knoxville, sold by R.J. Louis & Company LLC to Ten Gold Properties LLC for $3.45 million
* Escapees RV Park at 908 E Raccoon Valley Road, sold from Nomad Mail Co. Inc to Raccoon RV LLC for $2.23 million
