Rutgers Real Estate Center Unveils Symposium Lineup for Sustainable Development

Rutgers Business School Center for Real Estate hosts symposium on industry trends and innovations.

he Rutgers Business School Center for Real Estate is hosting a symposium on March 4 to address New Jersey's pressing issues, including affordability, housing, and infrastructure. The event, "New Jersey at a Crossroads: Where Do We Go from Here," will bring together over two dozen industry experts to explore solutions.

    Scheduled to take place from 8:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the Heldrich Hotel Conference Center in New Brunswick, the symposium will feature a keynote address by Tim Touhey, former CEO of the New Jersey Builders Association and former chair of the State Planning Commission. NJBIA President & CEO Michele Siekerka will join other experts on a panel discussing "Retaining and Attracting Tomorrow's Residents and Businesses."

    The panel will be moderated by Ron Ladell, senior vice president at AvalonBay Communities, Inc., and include Michael Avaltroni, President of Farleigh Dickinson University; John Boyd, Jr. Principal of Boyd Company, Inc.; Wesley Mathews, President & CEO of Choose New Jersey; and Robert Rudin, Transaction Consulting Vice Chair of Cushman & Wakefield.
