A
third civil lawsuit alleging sexual battery has been filed against Ethan Conrad, owner of a major commercial real estate brokerage in California. This is the latest in a series of allegations against him over the past two months. Conrad denies all claims.
The newest lawsuit was filed Monday in Sacramento County Superior Court and alleges that Conrad made unwanted sexual advances to multiple women at his office in exchange for job opportunities. The plaintiff claims this behavior is a violation of business codes.
Conrad, known for significant real estate investments, has been accused by three women in recent months. One woman alleged that in April, Conrad offered her alcohol and then solicited sex after she refused. She also claimed he engaged in a "violent and traumatic sexual act" with her last month.
The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office is investigating the allegations against Conrad. His attorney maintains that the claims are false and an attempt to extort money from him. However, the plaintiff's lawyer intends to sue Conrad for defamation after he accused them of extortion.
Conrad has previously sued one of his accusers back in a cross-complaint, claiming their encounter was consensual and she lied about it later to extort money. The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office investigated this case in 2022 but found no evidence against Conrad.
