ean "Diddy" Combs' Los Angeles mansion, listed for $61.5 million just before his arrest in September 2024, has been on the market for over 200 days without a single serious offer. The 10-bedroom, 13-bathroom estate in Holmby Hills boasts luxury amenities like a movie theater and spa facility, but its high asking price is seen as a major deterrent.
Industry insiders say the listing's association with Combs' ongoing federal trial has had a chilling effect on potential buyers. "I wish I could help, but no agents want to touch that house or be in any stories related to the case or the listing," said one local real estate agent anonymously.
Despite being listed by high-end agency Westside Estate Agency, the property's price remains unchanged at $61.5 million, even after a brief disappearance from the market in March. Investor Steven "Bo" Belmont offered $30 million to rehab its image, but serious interest has been scarce.
Belmont, known for flipping scandal-hit celebrity homes, expressed confidence in turning around the property's narrative, saying he wants to "remove the stigma and focus on the charming elegance of this remarkable property." However, few have even toured the home, and none have made serious offers.
The mansion's faltering market performance coincides with Combs' ongoing federal trial in Brooklyn, where he faces charges of racketeering, abuse, and coercion tied to alleged "freak offs" – multi-day drug- and sex-fueled events. Prosecutors allege that Combs used his fame and private footage to manipulate victims, accusations bolstered by explosive testimony and images presented in court.
Combs remains in custody as the trial unfolds, pleading not guilty to all charges. The association between the scandal and the estate has made the home a tough sell, even in a high-end market.
