    Selena Gomez's career has taken her to many places, but one of her most notable ventures has been in real estate. At just 19 years old, she purchased a home in California for over $2 million. This was just the beginning of her real estate journey.

    In 2014, she moved to Calabasas and bought a Mediterranean-style residence for $3.69 million. The property had five bedrooms and six bathrooms, along with five fireplaces, a gym, a movie theater, a full bar, and an underground wine cellar. The outdoor features included a courtyard, pool, spa, cabana, brick pizza oven, and a fun elephant-shaped topiary. She eventually sold this property to French Montana in 2016 for $3.3 million, which was more than $1 million under her initial asking price of $4.5 million when she first listed the home in 2015.

    In 2015, she returned to her Texas roots and bought a mansion in Fort Worth, not far from her childhood home in Grand Prairie. The house was over 10,000 square feet and had five bedrooms and six-and-a-half bathrooms. It featured a grand stone fireplace in the living room, stone tile flooring, a statement wood staircase near a full wet bar off the entrance, a game room, an eight-seat movie theater, a pool with a waterslide, and a tennis/basketball court. She eventually sold this property in 2018 for $2.7 million after struggling to offload it despite listing and lowering the price a few times.

    In 2017, she bought a charming 1950s cottage in L.A.'s Studio City neighborhood for $2.249 million. The private home had a column-lined porch with a white exterior and a chef's kitchen with skylights, a dining room with two sets of French doors, and an office with a corner fireplace. The property included a pool, spa, patio, lawn, and a guest house with a living room and yoga studio. She sold this property in 2020 for $2.37 million.

    In 2020, she bought the former home of late singer Tom Petty in Encino for $4.9 million. Petty and his wife Jane Benyo custom-built the property in 1989. The house spans over 11,000 square feet and includes six bedrooms and ten bathrooms. It features a dramatic curved staircase, vaulted ceilings, a recording studio, a gym, a massage room, and a wine cellar. The outdoor features include a sizable pool. She currently resides in this home with her grandparents. Apart from spending time here, she has also been known to frequent her boyfriend Benny Blanco's L.A. house filled with colorful, fun furnishings and art.
