he Wisconsin Realtors Association has released data on statewide and regional home sales, revealing mixed trends depending on the sector. Sheboygan County diverged from overall patterns in April 2025. According to the WRA, Wisconsin home sales declined by 10.4% compared to April 2024, despite a median price increase. However, year-to-date sales were down only 3.5%, boosted by strong January and February sales.
Statewide, housing inventory improved slightly, increasing to a 3.6-month supply in April, but remains below the balanced market threshold of six months. Inventory levels varied across counties, with static numbers in larger metropolitan areas and increases in micropolitan and rural counties.
In Sheboygan County, home sales rose by 20% to 84 units in April 2025, contrasting with the state's decline. The median home price increased by 12.1% to $283,000, the second-highest rate within the Southeast Region. Inventory levels also rose, from a 2.7-month supply in 2024 to a 3-month supply in 2025, nearly doubling the state average increase.
The time listings spent on the market before sale increased by 6.8% to 63 days in April 2025, compared to 59 days in 2024.
