A seasoned attorney with expertise in complex transactions, Orell will focus on high-stakes financial and real estate deals, including leasing, acquisitions, sales, and financing of commercial properties.

    Orell brings a wealth of experience to Shipman & Goodwin, having represented lenders and borrowers in various types of commercial lending transactions. His knowledge of real estate finance, including New York lien laws and commercial development, makes him an asset to the firm's clients. He advises owner-operators, developers, investors, and lenders on complex matters such as land acquisition, ground-up developments, and financing.

    Orell is admitted to practice law in both Connecticut and New York, having earned his J.D. from Brooklyn University in 2011 and his B.A. from the University of Vermont in 2006.
