linger, WI - The new Jug's Pub & Grill is set to open in the coming weeks at 1021 E. Commerce Blvd. Owner Jason Jug gave us a sneak peek inside the updated bar, dining area, and kitchen.

    The pub will feature 12 beers on tap, 170 seats, and 17 TVs throughout the bar and restaurant. The menu will offer a variety of options, including sandwiches, dinner entrees, and the famous Jug's fish fry. "We'll have higher-end bourbons and ice cream drinks," said Jug.

    The ambiance has a sports-bar feel with rustic touches like pallet ceilings and wagon wheel lights. The pub is separate from the bowling alley and The Kettle Recreation Center.

    Jug's Pub & Grill will offer gluten-free options, salads, filet, ribs, pizza, and soups. "We'll have a different menu than Kohlsville, but we'll maintain the same quality," said Jug.

    The Kettle Recreation Center is also nearing completion. General manager Dawn Jug showed off the high-tech bowling lanes, which feature amazing graphics and interactive games for kids. Owner Steve Kearns expects to receive the occupancy permit soon, pending final inspections.

    A private event at The Kettle and Jug's Pub & Grill tested out the new facilities, including the kitchen, which serves hot pizza and chicken wings. The gaming area is still under construction, but both businesses are hiring.
