n a move that further consolidates its Central Massachusetts presence, EMC has divested a significant office asset in the region. The company has sold a substantial 166,213-square-foot property at 21 Coslin Drive in Southborough to Framingham-based Atlantic Management for $6.9 million.
This transaction marks the second time in recent months that EMC has parted ways with a nearby office building. In December, the company sold a 145,000-square-foot facility at 32 Coslin Drive to Atlantic for $26.1 million. The sale is part of a broader trend, as EMC's presence in Central Massachusetts has gradually diminished since its acquisition by Texas-based Dell in 2016.
Prior to the merger, EMC had initially planned to relocate to a new office complex in Westborough, but ultimately reversed course and abandoned those plans.
