Take a Look: Carnegie Diner Owner Expands to Chambers Street

New restaurants to open next summer at the former Palm steakhouse site.

C
arnegie Hospitality, the operator of Carnegie Diner and Delos at 1185 Sixth Ave., has secured an 8,450‑sq‑ft lease at 200 Chambers St. in Tribeca, taking up the entire West Street blockfront between Chambers and Warren. This marks the company’s first downtown location. The space, formerly a Palm steakhouse, will host both restaurants and is slated to open next summer. The landlord, Jack Resnick & Sons, built the luxury condo tower in 2007, sold all 258 units, and still owns the retail frontage. “We’re excited to bring Carnegie’s quintessential New York flavor to Tribeca,” said landlord president Jonathan Resnick. Newmark’s Jeffrey Roseman represents the tenant, while Resnick is handled in‑house by Brett Greenberg and Fran Delgorio. The announcement follows Carnegie Diner’s recent debut at the Martinique New York Hotel (49 W 32nd St.), a 4,500‑sq‑ft, two‑level venue that seats 242 guests. Stathis Antonakopoulos, owner of the Martinique location and CEO of Carnegie Hospitality, also plans additional Manhattan and Brooklyn sites for 2026.
