Tal Alexander's spouse seeks divorce before sex trafficking case hearing

Tal Alexander's wife files for divorce amid his federal sex trafficking charges.

A
rielle Alexander, wife of Tal Alexander, has filed for divorce as the former top broker faces federal sex trafficking charges alongside his brothers Oren and Alon. The three were arrested in Miami on December 11 and are being transferred to New York, where they will remain in custody until their trial. Arielle's statement through her attorney Daniel Nottes reads: "I will continue to provide my young baby with love and support as I leave my husband. This commitment to my child's best interests and well-being will remain my highest priority."

Tal surrendered at his parents' home in Bal Harbour, while the FBI searched their 432 Park Avenue apartment, recovering a hard drive containing videos and photos of women who appear intoxicated or under the influence. Prosecutors claim these images show Oren and Alon engaging in sexual contact with them.

Arielle is a former investment analyst and venture capitalist, as well as founder of an executive recruiting firm focused on hedge funds and investment banks. The federal charges against the brothers carry a minimum sentence of 15 years, up to life in prison. Prosecutors allege they drugged and raped dozens of women dating back to high school, with at least 42 victims interviewed by the FBI.
