T
aylor Swift and Travis Kelce have reportedly been house hunting in Cleveland's affluent Eastside suburbs. The pop star and football player were spotted having lunch at a French bistro in Chagrin Falls, a picturesque village near Kelce's hometown of Cleveland Heights.
Sources suggest that the couple is focusing on Hunting Valley, Ohio, where prices for palatial properties can reach upwards of $5 million due to its 5-acre minimum lot size. In contrast, the median sale price in Cleveland is just $131,675. The area's affluent neighborhoods, such as Shaker Heights and Bratenahl, boast high-end homes that could be a perfect fit for the power couple.
David Ayers of The Agency compared the Eastside villages to the Hudson Valley in New York but at one-sixteenth of the price. "It's a very stealth wealth, old money, and it's really an amazingly kept secret," he said.
Despite rumors of their house hunt, Howard Hanna broker Adam Kaufman is skeptical about the pair's potential purchase. However, he acknowledges that Cleveland has much to offer, including a thriving arts scene and a strong seller's market.
Several properties in the area are being touted as potential contenders for Swift and Kelce. A sprawling estate in Hunting Valley features a private tennis court, swimming pool, and over 7.5 acres of land. The $3.45 million property boasts classic yet colorful interiors and evokes "grandeur of a bygone era."
Other options include a Hamptons-style home in Chagrin Falls with tasteful interiors across 13,600 square feet, including a two-island kitchen and wine cellar. A modern mansion in Moreland Hills features open spaces and large windows, while a classic English Tudor in Chagrin Falls boasts old-world charm.
A Lake Erie estate is also being considered, featuring Gilded Age interiors with intricately carved millwork and marble flooring throughout its grand public rooms. The 3.5-acre property comes with a restored guest cottage and massive pool patio for $5.99 million.
