UBBOCK, Texas - The Real Estate Conference at the Overton Hotel brought together commercial realtors for a day of networking and learning through lectures, seminars, and Q&A sessions with industry experts. A key goal of the event was to engage students from the Rawls College of Business and foster connections between academia and the industry. "Our primary focus is on bridging that gap between industry and academics," said Jared Harrell, Director of Texas Tech's Center for Real Estate. The conference attracted up to 200 realtors who discussed commercial real estate financing and market conditions in light of recent federal reserve policy changes affecting interest rates.
