ALA CYNWYD, Pa., Sept. 11, 2025 – Terravet Real Estate Solutions has closed a $7.75 million purchase of Eastern Animal Hospital in Baltimore. The 16,433‑sq‑ft, purpose‑built clinic at 6575 Eastern Ave. hosts one of the region’s top general‑practice veterinary teams, offering urgent, emergency, dental, behavioral, diagnostic, lab, and on‑site pharmacy services. CEO Daniel Eisenstadt said the facility exemplifies high‑performance, well‑designed urban veterinary real estate and aligns with Terravet’s long‑term, value‑driven strategy. Built in 2019 by Whiting‑Turner Contracting, the hospital’s construction quality matches the contractor’s portfolio, which includes the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex and Under Armour’s Baltimore headquarters. Eastern Animal Hospital now joins Terravet’s REIT, which holds over 650,000 sq‑ft of purpose‑built medical properties. The REIT offers practice owners a tax‑deferred UPREIT exchange for diversified shares, reducing risk and providing stability. This acquisition follows recent purchases in California, Georgia, Mississippi, and Washington, further expanding Terravet’s nationwide portfolio to more than 1.5 million sq‑ft across 35 states. Terravet partners with veterinary and healthcare operators to deliver flexible solutions—sale‑leasebacks, joint ventures, and expansion programs—leveraging decades of real‑estate, finance, and operations expertise.
