Tony Parker Lists Lavish Texas Estate for $16.5M with Private Water Park

Make a splash this summer with this San Antonio-area property, offering bragging rights and big bucks.

T
ony Parker, the retired NBA star and six-time All-Star, is putting his 53-acre Texas estate on the market for $16.5 million. The sprawling property in Boerne has been Parker's US home since 2009, but he's now ready to part with it as he spends more time in France.

The estate features a 10-bedroom, 12-bathroom mansion with 13,300 square feet of living space, as well as an impressive private water park that took nearly 60,000 man hours to build. The water park boasts eight pools, including a "free fall" slide and a "spinner" slide, as well as a lazy river, floating lily pads, and three Jacuzzis.

Parker's vision for the estate was to create a place where he could host his family and friends, and make memories that would last a lifetime. He even added a double gate and guardhouse at the entrance of the property for extra security.

The estate also features a four-bedroom guest house, a greenhouse, a fruit orchard, an eight-car garage, a tennis court, and a sand volleyball court. Parker had initially planned to add a menagerie of animals to the property, but instead, he settled on having his pet tortoise, Bulldozer, as the only reptile resident.

Inside the mansion, there's a chef's kitchen, a 1,500-bottle wine room, a cinema with stadium seating, twin offices, and a trophy room accessed by a fingerprint scanner. The most dramatic space is the 5,922-square-foot gym designed as a Spurs-themed half court, complete with life-size Marvel and DC superheroes and villains.

The estate has been on and off the market over the years without finding a buyer, but realtor Erwin Nicholas II thinks he's found a unique solution by partnering with internet personality Kai Cenat to live stream and "activate" the home for the entire month of July. The goal is to attract a buyer who will appreciate the estate as a generational property.

"We're looking for someone who wants a house that's not just a house, but an experience," Nicholas said. "Someone who wants to create memories with their family and friends, just like Tony Parker did."
