Three Naples, FL properties top April's most expensive home sales, led by a $133 million beachfront estate.

n April, the most expensive home sales in the US were dominated by beachfront properties in Florida. A trio of neighboring estates in Naples, FL topped the list, with one selling for a record $133 million. Six of the top 10 sales were in coastal Florida, while two luxury condos on Billionaires' Row in Manhattan rounded out the list.

    Half of April's highest-priced home sales exceeded $50 million, and all fetched at least $40 million. Despite increasing risks from climate-driven disasters, waterfront properties in Florida remain a magnet for ultra-wealthy buyers who can afford to renovate or rebuild if needed.

    * 1028 Ridgedale Dr., Beverly Hills, CA: Sold for $60 million

    * 942 Alpine Dr., Beverly Hills, CA: Sold for $51.8 million

    * 516 S. Ocean Blvd., Palm Beach, FL: Sold for $51.4 million

    * 2340 Gordon Dr., Naples, FL: Sold for $46.9 million

    * 111 W. 57th St. Unit 72, New York City, NY: Sold for $46.9 million

    * 217 W. 57th St. Unit 116, New York City, NY: Sold for $45.9 million

    * 2170 Gordon Dr., Naples, FL: Sold for $44.9 million

    * 3080 N. Bay Rd., Miami Beach, FL: Sold for $40 million

    Redfin also looked at the most expensive listings on the market today, with all priced above $135 million and two asking over $200 million. Half of these listings were in Southern California, four in coastal Florida, and one in Lake Tahoe.
