SA TODAY will soon be publishing two new lists: one for the top real estate agencies in Florida and another for those in Tennessee. These lists are set to be released next month and will highlight the top 500 agencies in Florida and 300 in Tennessee respectively.
The rankings were determined by a market research firm called Statista, who partnered with USA TODAY for this project. They used data from Multiple Listing Services (MLS) to evaluate the agencies based on four key areas: revenue, price performance, sales volume, and success rate.
Florida and Tennessee were chosen for this project due to their recent population growth, which has made them some of the hottest housing markets in the country. The warm climate and low cost of living in Florida attract both tourists and residents alike, while Tennessee's high quality of life and affordability have made it an attractive option for those leaving expensive cities.
The COVID-19 pandemic also played a role in their popularity, as it made remote work more feasible and allowed people to live in different states from their employers.
The winners of "Florida's Best Real Estate Agencies 2024" and "Tennessee's Best Real Estate Agencies 2024" will be notified by Statista on August 29th and announced in USA TODAY on September 26th.
This project is just one of many collaborations between USA TODAY and Statista, who have also worked together on rankings for top financial advisory firms and climate change leaders.
