OSTON – The Urban Land Institute (ULI) of Boston/New England has launched a new Center for Leadership, designed to educate and mentor the next generation of Boston leaders in real estate and land use industries.
The mission of the Center is to develop leadership skills by informing emerging leaders about transformative dynamics within Boston's real estate and land use sectors. The eleven-month program includes eight program days, a tour, and graduation day, with each day focusing on specific topics such as housing development, urban design, and policy.
Industry leaders will present case studies, panel discussions, and roundtable conversations to educate participants on key themes. "We're excited to offer this thoughtful program for growth and connection to our region's next generation of land use and development leaders," said Michelle Landers, Executive Director of ULI Boston/New England.
Ideal candidates are mid-career professionals with a strong working knowledge of the real estate and/or land-use sectors. They should hold an undergraduate degree or higher and have at least 10 years' experience in related fields such as development, architecture, planning, government, finance, and sustainability.
Applications for both ULI members and non-members are open, with tuition assistance available for qualified applicants. The application deadline has been extended to December 18 at 5:00PM.
