nder Armour CEO Kevin Plank has put his 400-acre Baltimore County estate, Sagamore Farm, up for sale with a $22 million price tag. The property, which spans Reisterstown, Maryland, boasts a 16,000-square-foot main house featuring six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, as well as a gym, library, and conference room. The grounds are designed for horse breeding, training, and racing, complete with a track, multiple barns, and staff housing.
The property also includes rye fields, which Plank used to cultivate rye for his whiskey company Sagamore Spirit. He purchased the estate in 2007, investing around $22 million in the land and renovations. The Vanderbilt family once owned Sagamore Farm, and Plank has paid homage by commissioning a mural of their famous racehorse, Native Dancer.
The sale of this equestrian estate is being closely watched, particularly given Plank's previous experience with selling his Georgetown home, which took two years to offload after its price was reduced by over 40%.
