Drury Plaza Hotel is set to join the Century Farms development in Antioch, a Nashville neighborhood. The seven-story, 180-key hotel will be built on three acres near Tanger Outlets and Whataburger. This marks a significant addition to the $1 billion Century Farms project, which has been underway for several years.
Already completed are the headquarters of Nashville SC, an HCA Healthcare emergency room, and 1,200 apartments. Oldacre McDonald acquired the site in 2015 for $5.5 million. Future developments include Tiger Woods' PopStroke golf venue, hundreds more multifamily units, and at least four hotels.
Triumph Hospitality is planning a two-hotel project nearby, featuring 400 keys under various brands. The Drury Plaza hotel will be the company's upscale brand. Nashville's hospitality scene is thriving, with notable projects like the VOCE Hotel and Residences in Midtown and Bill Gates' acquisition of the Dream Hotel downtown.
The Four Seasons Nashville, which opened in 2022, added to the city's luxury offerings. Other significant developments include Host Hotels' $500 million purchase of downtown assets and Turnberry's planned St. Regis hotel-condo tower.
