Company poised to support up to $1 billion in loan volume, driven by growing foreign demand for U.S. property.

nternational investors, particularly from Latin and South America, are increasingly eyeing the U.S. residential real estate market, according to Miami-based digital mortgage platform Waltz. The company has secured $25 million in funding from affiliates of Setpoint Capital, bringing its total funding to $50 million. This investment will enable Waltz to expand its mortgage origination capabilities for non-U.S. citizens and support up to $1 billion in loan volume.

Latin American buyers, led by those from Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia, are among the most active international purchasers of U.S. homes. Waltz's founder and CEO, Yuval Golan, attributes this demand to the stability and historical strength of the U.S. economy, which facilitates wealth creation through financing options, passive income streams, and property value appreciation.

Waltz offers a fully digital process for non-residents to establish legal entities, open bank accounts, exchange currencies, and finance property purchases. Since its launch in mid-2024, the company has processed over $300 million in loan applications across four continents. Waltz will now offer services in Spanish and Portuguese through its multilingual platform.

The company's focus on Latin America is reflected in its official launch in Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, and Argentina. Setpoint Capital's managing director of investments, Kendall Ranjbaran, praised Waltz for streamlining investment opportunities and making it easier for global individuals to invest in U.S. income-producing residential properties.

Waltz partners with major brokerages like RE/MAX and eXp Realty, selling the loans it originates to institutions such as Acra Lending and Atlas SP, backed by Apollo Global Management and BlackRock, respectively.
