aphna Ziman, president of Cinemoi North America, has put her meticulously restored former estate of Warner Bros. co-founder Harry Warner on the market for $34.9 million. The three-story Tudor-inspired residence in Beverly Hills was built in 1923 and has hosted Hollywood bigwigs and global dignitaries over the years. Ziman spent six years researching and restoring the property, which she bought with her ex-husband Richard Ziman in 1996, investing around $10 million in the process.
The estate features a seven-bedroom, nine-bathroom main house with hardwood floors from France, hand-carved woodwork, and a screening room. There's also a detached guest house, regulation-size tennis court, koi pond, and three gated entrances. Ziman spent an additional several million dollars on a second renovation that aimed to preserve the historical value and beauty of the estate.
The listing agents, Jade Mills and Joyce Rey of Coldwell Banker Realty, and Lea Porter of Beverly Hills Estates, praise Ziman's dedication to the restoration. They note that the home enters the market as buyer sentiment is lifting, with consumers becoming more confident in the face of higher interest rates.
For Ziman, who has also made a $13.5 billion bid for Paramount earlier this year, the Warner estate represents an incredible moment in her life. She hopes to find a buyer who will appreciate the work that went into preserving the estate's history and restoring its glamour.
