T
he Golden State Warriors have secured a lease for 50,000 square feet of office space in San Francisco's Mission Rock development. The NBA team has signed a deal to occupy two floors in Building B at 1051 3rd Street, just a short distance from their home arena, Chase Center. Developed by Tishman Speyer, the 295,000-square-foot building is part of the 28-acre waterfront neighborhood that replaced former parking lots across from Oracle Park.
The Warriors are the first office tenant in Building B, which features large windows, outdoor terraces, and a rooftop deck with stunning Bay views. The building also includes a 25,000-square-foot fitness center where team executives can stay active. Mission Rock is being developed in partnership with the San Francisco Giants baseball team and the Port of San Francisco.
The Warriors had previously considered leasing space at DivcoWest's 550 Terry A. Francois Boulevard, but ultimately opted for Building B instead. When fully developed, Mission Rock will feature 2.7 million square feet of lab-ready offices, homes, shops, and restaurants, as well as 8 acres of parks and a plaza.
