West Palm Beach synagogue sells waterfront property to Related Ross for $30 million

Temple Israel approves $30M sale of waterfront campus to Related Ross after condo redesign.

T
emple Israel's congregation has approved a $30 million deal to sell most of its waterfront campus to Related Ross, following a redesign of the developer's planned Shorecrest condos. The sale includes two-thirds of the synagogue's 1.8-acre campus and will allow Temple Israel to have its own standalone space with "curb appeal."

The temple had previously considered occupying ground-floor space in the Shorecrest project at 1901 North Flagler Drive, but ultimately decided it was better to have its own separate operation. The remaining third of the campus will be sold to a different buyer.

Related Ross has relaunched the Shorecrest project with 28 stories and 199 units, down from the original 26-story, 140-unit plan. Prices for the condos now range from $1 million to $6 million, lower than the previous range of $1.3 million to $9 million. Groundbreaking is set for 2026, with completion estimated for 2028.

The Shorecrest project aims to appeal to luxury buyers at a lower price point than Related's nearby South Flagler House, which launched sales last year with prices ranging from $5.9 million to $72.5 million. The two projects are part of a wave of luxury condo development in West Palm Beach, where over 6,600 residential units are currently in the works.
