wo downtown storefront buildings in Chautauqua County have changed hands recently. The Post-Journal and OBSERVER analyzed real estate sales from October 1-4 and found several notable transactions.
In Westfield, Jonathan and Teresa Casler sold a pair of East Main Street storefronts to 6163 East Main Street, LLC for $175,000. The properties house B&C Tax & Bookkeeping Service and Blue June Blooms Flowers & Gifts, with apartments above each business.
In Falconer, Glen and Susan Dickerson sold the 13-21 E. Main St. plaza to Krista Boardman for $75,000. Diane’s Collectives and Eleven Eleven Beauty are among the businesses located in this plaza.
From October 1-4, there were eight sales valued at $250,000 or higher. These included a Jamestown property selling for $715,000 and a Westfield property selling for $500,000.
In total, there were 70 transactions during this time period, with many more sales occurring below the $250,000 threshold. Some notable sales include a Fredonia property selling for $350,000 and a Stockton property selling for $340,000.
Other recent sales in Chautauqua County include a parcel on Quilliam Road selling for $250,000 and a parcel on Lakeside Drive selling for $7,000.
