New York-based real estate company, Spinoso Real Estate Group, has acquired White Marsh Mall in Baltimore County for $190 million. This purchase comes after the group took control of the 1.2 million-square-foot retail hub in receivership since January 2023.
The mall is anchored by major department stores like JCPenney and Macy's, as well as benefiting from its proximity to the region's only IKEA store. The new owner has already welcomed several incoming retailers, including The Original Pancake House, Brow Bar, and GNC.
Brookfield Properties, the previous owner, still maintains a presence in Maryland through other shopping centers such as Mondawmin Mall, Towson Town Center, and The Mall in Columbia.
