major affordable housing development, The Corliss, is nearing completion in Milwaukee's Bay View neighborhood. Developed by Bear Development of Kenosha, the project will be the largest privately developed affordable housing project in Wisconsin history when finished next year. Located on a former industrial site along E. Becher St., the development began opening its first buildings this month and will provide much-needed housing for low-income residents.
