ORLD PROPERTY CHANNEL TV (WPC TV), a global real estate news streaming service, has begun platform construction and is set to launch in late 2025. Upon launch, WPC TV will produce 6-8 hours of daily 'broadcast-caliber' real estate news programming, offering in-depth market coverage across various property sectors worldwide.
The platform will feature multiple daily interviews with experts from diverse fields, including analysts, economists, CEOs, politicians, and industry thought leaders. In addition to daily global real estate news, WPC TV will offer a vast library of lifestyle real estate content, including luxury, aspirational, vacation, travel, home improvement, design, educational, and documentary programming.
Headquartered in Miami, with offices opening in Los Angeles and New York City in 2025, WPC TV will operate as a subsidiary of WORLD PROPERTY MEDIA. Company founder Michael Gerrity cites Miami's thriving international real estate market and global media reach as the ideal location for launching this platform.
Gerrity notes that the popularity of major streaming platforms like Netflix and HBO Max indicates a demand for specialized content, such as global real estate news. He envisions WPC TV becoming a leading source of real estate information, attracting tens of millions of paid subscribers worldwide over the coming decade.
WORLD PROPERTY MEDIA plans to start a $200 million private funding round and begin construction on a 20,000-square-foot broadcast news center in Miami by mid-2025. Gerrity aims for WPC TV to become the future 'CNBC of Real Estate', delivered entirely online rather than through cable.
