Wilmington native turned NFL kicker builds luxurious local estate

Former NFL Kicker Lists Wilmington Home as City's Priciest Property

F
ormer NFL kicker Connor Barth has put his $8.5 million estate, dubbed "The Cypress House," on the market in Wilmington's upscale Landfall community. The 7,435-square-foot home boasts four bedrooms, five bathrooms, and an infinity-edge pool, making it the most expensive listing in the neighborhood with a median sale price of $1.4 million. Barth developed the property through his company, CB 10 Development, after purchasing the lot for $440,000 in 2024.

The Cypress House is a South American-inspired contemporary estate featuring a courtyard, tropical landscaping, and an open-concept layout. The home sits on a march-front lot with a golf course across the street, offering a balance of privacy and access to top-tier amenities just minutes from Wilmington's beaches, dining, and cultural scene.

Barth, who played 109 games in the NFL, has returned to his hometown to pursue a career in real estate development. His company, CB 10 Development, partnered with Ivester Jackson Christie’s International Real Estate, Roost Home Building, and Kevin Pfirman Architect on the project. The former kicker also operates a yearly kicking camp at Hoggard High School for local kids of all ages.

The Cypress House is currently the most expensive property in Landfall, narrowly beating out an $8.3 million home. Barth's development company, CB 10 Development, was formed in June 2023, and he was inducted into the Greater Wilmington Sports Hall of Fame in 2024.
