The chemist chain ROSSMANN is expanding and moving into new retail premises at Kurfürstendamm 19–24 in Berlin. The opening of this location is scheduled for the second half of 2026. This establishment underscores the appeal of Kurfürstendamm as a prime retail location.
The letting process was supported by Lührmann acting as consultant for the tenant. The brokerage was carried out in a joint venture with CBRE, which advised the property owner. This collaboration of real estate experts ensured a structured transaction process.
Area and product range
ROSSMANN will present its extensive product range across a total area of approximately 1,700 square metres. This area is spread across the ground and upper floors of the property. The offering will include established categories such as toiletries, personal care, cosmetics, baby products, and household items, appealing to a broad customer base.
Christoph Schulz, managing partner at Lührmann's Berlin office, emphasised the significance of this development. He pointed out that Kurfürstendamm is one of Germany's most renowned shopping streets and is undergoing continuous development. With ROSSMANN's establishment, the location gains an important footfall generator.
Company history and presence
ROSSMANN, founded in 1972 by Dirk Roßmann in Hanover, has developed into one of Europe's largest chemist chains. The company currently operates more than 5,200 branches across Europe. Of these, over 2,300 stores are located in Germany. In total, ROSSMANN employs approximately 67,700 staff, which underlines its substantial market position.
This new branch on Kurfürstendamm is a strategic step to strengthen the company's market presence in a highly frequented and economically significant location in Berlin. It solidifies the company's position in retail.
