The Silverton Group has agreed an early, long-term extension of the existing lease with French sporting goods retailer Decathlon in Regensburg. The property at Langobardenstrasse 2 is owned by an investment fund for which Silverton acts as asset manager. This step secures the international retail company's long-term presence at the southern location in the Bavarian university city.
Decathlon operates a specialist sports store of around 3,300 square metres in the retail park, serving as one of the key anchor tenants of the property. The extension underlines the appeal of the location as well as the collaborative partnership between tenant and owner. At the same time, the long-term agreement ensures stable rental income for the owner's portfolio and provides planning certainty for both sides for the coming years.
