Extell Development's 70-storey condominium building “50 West 66th Street” in Manhattan embodies luxurious living. It consists of two parts: the “House” with 84 units and the “Tower” with 37 units. Residents moved in last year, but the building is still undergoing final touches and some units are being completed.

The flats vary in size from two to six bedrooms and are priced between US$8 million and US$85 million. Janice Chang of Douglas Elliman reported that most buyers based their decisions solely on renderings and floor plans, confident in the project's potential. “We sold many of these flats sight unseen,” Chang said. “We have only just started showing people the furnished show flats, and the feedback is incredibly good.

The views from the Tower units are described as spectacular. Each of these flats offers an ideal retreat. Janice Chang emphasised the panoramic view: “This is the best view because it is panoramic. It stretches from the Hudson River to Central Park South. You are not too high, so you can see all the trees and landmarks, as well as the George Washington Bridge.”

Each unit features luxurious details, including white marble kitchens with Miele appliances, double ovens and wine refrigerators. This is complemented by cabinets from designer SmallBone, as well as bathrooms with underfloor heating, rain showers and deep soaking tubs. Uniquely designed light fixtures in the units and throughout the building serve as statement pieces, adding further sophistication to the property.

A key part of the building's appeal is its extensive amenities, spanning over 50,000 square feet. Residents can choose between an indoor and an outdoor pool or relax in an inviting lounge offering the ambiance of a five-star resort cocktail bar. Further facilities include an outdoor lounge, a full-size basketball court and a two-lane bowling alley.
