TRILUX, the German market leader for professional lighting, has announced an investment of more than 80 million euros in its headquarters in Arnsberg, to be implemented within the next three years. This strategic decision includes the new construction of the main building, the comprehensive modernisation of production facilities and a fundamental optimisation of plant structures. The aim of these measures is to secure long-term competitiveness, promote innovation, and establish sustainable growth. The investments are also intended to represent a clear commitment to the Arnsberg site, the region, and the company's employees.

Hubertus Volmert, CEO of TRILUX, emphasised that the headquarters in Arnsberg has been an integral part of the company's identity and innovative strength for decades. Solutions for future lighting technology are developed and produced there. The current investments are intended to lay the foundation for Arnsberg to continue to play a central role within the TRILUX Group.

A central component of the investment strategy is the new construction of a main building at the Arnsberg site, which will house an integrated customer and innovation centre. The Düsseldorf architectural firm RKW Architektur + has been commissioned with the conceptualisation and development. Through flexible workspaces and a contemporary infrastructure, a working environment is to be created that promotes collaboration, exchange, and innovation. The innovation and customer centre is designed to intensify TRILUX's networking with customers and partners. Innovative lighting solutions are to be presented and further developed collaboratively here. Completion and occupancy of the new building are planned for 2028 and 2029. Volmert highlighted that this investment is primarily an investment in employees, innovative strength, and the attractiveness of the location.

Parallel to the new construction, production will be comprehensively further developed. The goal is highly modern, energy- and resource-efficient manufacturing that can flexibly respond to future requirements. An optimisation of the plant layout is planned between 2026 and 2027 to improve material flows, simplify processes, and strengthen cross-departmental cooperation. This includes investments in advanced warehousing and logistics solutions, including a new horizontal carousel and a modern honeycomb storage system for E-Line Pro production.

The total investments are to be understood as a strategic step to secure TRILUX's position in international competition in the long term. The focus is not primarily on capacity expansions, but on the modernisation of processes, the increase in efficiency, and the further digitalisation of the value chain. The commissioning of the new plant in Poland in 2024 is also in this context. Increased use of artificial intelligence is also planned, with TRILUX specifically investing in digital technologies to optimise internal processes and increase product quality and performance for customers.

Volmert reaffirmed that these investments represent a clear signal of belief in the future of TRILUX and the Arnsberg site. They are intended to create the necessary conditions to operate successfully even in a demanding market environment and to further expand its role as an innovative solution provider.
