The family-run real estate company WÖHR + BAUER is focusing on a further developed strategic alignment. In addition to its established project development activities, the company is specifically strengthening its Service Development and Residential business segments. This focus serves to build sustainable growth prospects in a dynamic real estate market. A characteristic feature of the corporate philosophy of the Wöhr and Roeck shareholder families is the consistent continuation of their own approach.
As part of this strategic realignment, the management team is being expanded. The Wöhr and Roeck shareholder families are enabling long-standing Managing Director Oliver Vogt (53) to acquire a stake in the company. Vogt, who has been with the company for over two decades and a member of the management board for almost ten years, will receive a two per cent share and will be admitted to the circle of shareholders. The qualified civil engineer and real estate economist has also been involved in the executive board for several years and, since the beginning of the year, as the spokesperson for the Southern region of the Central Real Estate Committee (ZIA).
Wolfgang Roeck, shareholder and managing director of WÖHR + BAUER, explains the decision: The further development of the business models is a significant step in the long-term corporate strategy. The admission of Oliver Vogt to the circle of shareholders is equally consistent. Roeck emphasises the great commitment, entrepreneurial thinking and personal dedication with which Vogt has advanced the company over the past 20 years and expresses his complete trust in him. He is delighted to have Vogt not only as a managing director but also as a co-shareholder by his side in the future.
Oliver Vogt comments on his new role: For him, the status of co-shareholder means taking long-term responsibility for the future of the company. He thanks the Wöhr and Roeck families for this opportunity. In recent years, WÖHR + BAUER has consistently thought ahead and focused on future-oriented topics at an early stage. Current projects and successful lettings confirm this course. He wishes to continue this path together with employees, partners, and customers.
Successful Projects and Market Positioning
The leadership team comprising Wolfgang Roeck, Oliver Vogt, and Dr. Tim Malonn has recognised the changed market conditions in the real estate sector and aligned the company accordingly. Recent milestones include the project development of the new residential quarter Neulichterfelde in the Berlin district of Steglitz-Zehlendorf, a collaboration with the Berlin housing association degewo. Another significant mandate is the expansion and redesign of the headquarters of Stadtsparkasse Augsburg in the Service Development segment. Furthermore, WÖHR + BAUER has successfully established itself in the market with sophisticated inner-city quarter developments, revitalisations, and high-quality office properties.
With these strategic decisions, the Wöhr and Roeck families underscore their ambition to position WÖHR + BAUER as an owner-managed real estate company with a long-term perspective. Short decision-making processes and sustainable entrepreneurial action remain central elements of the company's management.
