Zurich Gruppe Deutschland has agreed a long-term extension of its strategic partnership with DWS. Global commercial law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer advised the insurance company on the legal structure of the contracts, whose term has now been bindingly committed until the year 2042.
The agreement is directly linked to the early extension of the cooperation between Deutsche Bank and Zurich Gruppe Deutschland. This long-standing distribution agreement was also extended until the end of 2042, providing the participating institutions with a reliable planning foundation for their collaboration over the next two decades.
Distribution structure for Deutsche Bank and Postbank
In tandem with the cooperation with the banking group, the joint efforts of Zurich Gruppe Deutschland and asset manager DWS will continue. With this step, all three partners reaffirm their commitment to stability and growth. The coordinated product portfolio remains an integral part of client advisory services at Deutsche Bank and Postbank.
The legal advice provided by Freshfields focused specifically on the contractual foundations between Zurich Gruppe Deutschland and DWS. The inclusion of DWS ensures that clients of both banking institutions retain uninterrupted access to established fund and investment strategies within the insurance solutions.
Investment in digital interfaces
- —Legally established continuation of the partnership until the year 2042
