An innovative PropTech company recently unveiled an Artificial Intelligence (AI) voice platform specifically developed to reactivate inactive buyer records within estate agents' Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems. This development addresses a known industry challenge where a large volume of potential buyer data remains unused after initial interest has waned.

According to Viewery.ai, the company behind the technology, the average British estate agency branch holds a considerable number of buyer records in its CRM systems, ranging between 3,000 and 10,000. However, a significant portion of this data becomes inactive within a few weeks of initial registration. These 'dormant' records represent an untapped resource that could offer substantial business opportunities if approached correctly.

The aim of the new platform is to make this dormant information usable again. By utilising AI-powered voice technology, the system can proactively contact formerly interested buyers to ascertain their current needs and preferences. The assumption is that the circumstances of many of these potential buyers may change over time, which could rekindle an interest in the property market.

Reactivating such records is more efficient than acquiring entirely new leads, as basic information about the potential buyers is already available. This allows for more targeted communication and potentially faster conversions. The platform could thus help agents to better utilise their existing client base and increase the efficiency of their sales activities, without incurring additional marketing expenses for new customer acquisition.

The introduction of this AI voice platform by Viewery.ai signals another step in the digitalisation of the real estate sector. Such technologies offer agents the opportunity to optimise their internal processes and gain a competitive advantage by leveraging untapped potential within their own data. In the long term, this could lead to a shift in resource allocation for lead generation, moving away from an exclusive focus on new contacts towards nurturing and reactivating existing records.
