AIF Capital Group, administrator of the public AIF Anspar FLEX Fonds 3 closed investment GmbH & Co. KG, has concluded a lease agreement with Netto Marken-Discount for a commercial space of 1,370 square metres in Frielendorf, Hesse. The food retailer occupied this space after a refurbishment. The transaction concerns a property built in 1996, which was acquired by Anspar FLEX Fonds 3 in 2012.
Heiko Szczodrowski, Managing Director of AIF Capital Group, expressed a positive view on the establishment of Netto Marken-Discount, as it complements the existing retail offering for the local population. He also thanked the municipality of Frielendorf and Mayor Jens Nöll for their support in realising this letting. The new establishment contributes to strengthening the local infrastructure and provides residents with extended shopping opportunities.
The new Netto Marken-Discount branch in Frielendorf offers a wide product range with a focus on freshness, quality and regionality. Christina Stylianou, Head of Corporate Communications at Netto Marken-Discount, highlighted that the offering will also include a comprehensive organic assortment, daily fresh baked goods, and an extensive reusable packaging section. This aims to contribute to long-term local supply in the region.
Significance for the Frielendorf location
Mayor Jens Nöll of Frielendorf welcomed the opening of the new Netto market, describing it as a positive signal for Frielendorf as a business location. He emphasised the importance of short distances and reliable supply for the quality of life in the municipality. He extended his thanks to everyone involved who contributed to the realisation of this project. In addition to the supermarket space leased to Netto Marken-Discount, the property in Frielendorf also includes a beverage market and 105 shared outdoor parking spaces for cars.
AIF Capital Group was advised by Pier Investment Partner and Aston Ten Brinke on the letting to Netto Marken-Discount. This cooperation underscores the complexity and professional framework of the transaction, which supports the sustainable development of the Frielendorf location.
