Amazon Spain Services S.L. has reaffirmed its long-term presence in the Tánger 36 office building in Barcelona's 22@ district as part of strategic discussions. The company has been a tenant of the building, which offers approximately 8,400 square metres of office space, since 2021 and will continue to commit to the location in Barcelona's innovation and technology district. This strategic decision underscores the importance of the 22@ district as a centre for technological development and entrepreneurial activity in Europe.
The Tánger 36 office building, located at Carrer de Tánger 36, was acquired by KanAm Grund Group for a real estate special fund in 2021. It is part of the 22@ district, which is considered one of Europe's most successful urban development projects. This district has become a magnet for international technology companies, start-ups and research institutions. Amazon joins the ranks of companies such as Microsoft, SAP, Cisco Systems, Schneider Electric and Roche.
