A viable investor solution has been achieved for Evangelische Dienste Lilienthal gGmbH and its subsidiary Parkstift Osterholz gGmbH. Within the debtor-in-possession proceedings ongoing since February 2026, Coreh Care Holding GmbH is taking over the facilities of the two non-profit companies headquartered in Lilienthal near Bremen. The corresponding purchase agreement was notarised on 26 October 2026 and approved on 29 October 2026. The economic transfer of the operational units is scheduled for 1 January 2027.
Continuation of all locations and operational areas
The agreement encompasses the complete continuation of the existing infrastructure in Lower Saxony. All four care home locations, the outpatient care service and the day care facility in Ritterhude will be maintained. Educational operations for curative education nursing, podiatry and occupational therapy will also continue. All jobs of the roughly 350 staff members are safeguarded through the acquisition.

Parties involved and restructuring process
GÖRG has advised on the restructuring proceedings since February 2026. Prof. Dr Gerrit Hölzle and Dr Karl-Friedrich Curtze acted as restructuring directors, while partner Tim Beyer supervised the proceedings as team leader and associated partner Dr John Frederik Hillmann coordinated the M&A process. The legal supervision as court-appointed administrator (Sachwalter) was handled by Dr Malte Köster of the law firm KÖSTERBERNER Sanierungsrecht. The M&A process was supported in an advisory capacity by Dr. Wieselhuber & Partner, while business management responsibilities were assumed by Puke Dresen Mall.
Restructuring director Hölzle emphasised that the agreed solution offers staff secure prospects and provides reliability for residents and their relatives. In addition, the outcome promises an exceptionally satisfactory result for the creditors in both proceedings. Jacob Hetzel, Managing Partner of Coreh Care Holding GmbH, stated that the objective is to preserve the established structures as a whole and to develop them further alongside the local teams.
Hetzel also commended existing managing directors Henrik Schwarz and Torsten Wieting for their dedication during a challenging period. Both executives played a constructive role in shaping the transition and will continue to lead the companies following the completion of the corporate transaction.
