As part of its letting activities, ANH Hausbesitz has concluded a lease agreement with La Marzocco for the NEUE WEST ensemble at Potsdamer Straße 91 in Berlin-Tiergarten. La Marzocco, an established manufacturer in the segment of high-quality portafilter and espresso machines, will in future use space in the front building and studio house of the property.
The agreed rental areas include spaces for showroom and sales activities on the ground floor of the front building and studio house. Additionally, office space will be provided on the first floor of the front building. This structuring of use enables La Marzocco to combine both representative presentation areas and functional work areas at one location.
Characteristics of the NEUE WEST location
The listed NEUE WEST ensemble extends over a plot of approximately 1,500 square metres. The development consists of a front building, a studio house, a villa, and a factory, which are grouped around an elongated inner courtyard. In total, NEUE WEST offers around 4,000 square metres of commercial and retail space, designed for creative and artistic concepts.
The location has historical significance, having served as the headquarters of a lithographic company between 1860 and 1883. Since 2016, the property has undergone comprehensive development under the direction of AHM Architekten BDA to transform it into a cultural venue. This transformation aims to continue the original tradition of use, which prioritised craftsmanship and design, within a contemporary context. Today, NEUE WEST functions as a centre where various disciplines such as craftsmanship, design, and artistic creation interact.
The establishment of La Marzocco fits into the overall concept of NEUE WEST, which aims to integrate companies that value quality, design, and artisanal tradition. The property at Potsdamer Straße 91 in Berlin-Tiergarten is thus further developing into a magnet for players from the cultural and commercial sectors.
