B&L Gruppe, an owner-managed real estate company based in Germany, will in future use the Fincetra software solution from Swiss Fintech AG. This implementation aims to centrally manage the group's entire financing portfolio, significantly improving transparency, efficiency, and data quality in financing management. B&L Gruppe has been active in the German real estate market for over five decades and has its headquarters in Hamburg.
The company possesses extensive experience across the entire real estate value chain, with over 190 realised projects in various property categories. Its business areas include project development, property management, centre management, leasing, and hospitality. The decision to introduce Fincetra underscores the importance of proactive and professional financing management for B&L Gruppe's long-term strategic direction.
Digital Transformation in Financing Management
The core of the collaboration focuses on digital debt management. In the future, all loan information and other financing-relevant data can be centrally recorded, systematically evaluated, and used for strategic planning. Dr. Timo Haenelt, Managing Director of B&L Real Estate GmbH, commented on this step. He emphasised that professional and proactive financing management is of great importance for a long-term oriented real estate company. With Fincetra, a modern digital foundation will be created, enabling transparent and efficient management of finances.
Fincetra offers real estate companies a specialised digital solution for financing and debt management. In addition to the primary function of central management of financing portfolios, the software includes further functionalities. These comprise the creation of portfolio analyses, the monitoring of covenants, as well as the mapping of planning data and the execution of scenario analyses.
Increasing Digitisation in the Real Estate Sector
For Swiss Fintech AG, this cooperation reinforces the growing relevance of specialised software solutions in real estate financing management. Dr. Urs Meier, CEO of Swiss Fintech AG, highlighted current market developments. He noted that professional financing management is increasingly understood as an independent management discipline, while many processes are currently still managed using Excel and fragmented data sources. Dr. Meier added that with B&L Gruppe, another renowned real estate company is being gained that is consistently digitalising this area and consolidating its entire loan management on a central platform.
