BAUM Unternehmensgruppe has appointed Goldbeck Facility Services GmbH, part of the European construction and services company Goldbeck, for the technical facility management of the Riethorst Ensemble in Hanover. This appointment follows the change of ownership of the property complex, which took place in early 2026.
Goldbeck Facility Services has been responsible for the technical building management of the property since 2021. The continuation of this collaboration under the new ownership underscores the continuity in the management of the property, which includes the addresses Riethorst 2 and 4, as well as Podbielskistraße 395.
The Riethorst Ensemble in Detail
The property, known in the market as the Riethorst Ensemble, is a significant office complex. It boasts a total rental area of approximately 31,600 square metres. Following its acquisition by BAUM Unternehmensgruppe, the property was redeveloped into a mixed-use office building, accommodating various tenants and utilisation concepts. The entire ensemble is currently fully let.

- —Location: North-east of the Lower Saxon state capital Hanover
- —Current occupancy status: Fully let
Nils Lueken, Managing Director of Goldbeck Facility Services GmbH, commented on the renewed appointment, emphasising that the continuation of management after the change of ownership represents particular confirmation of the work carried out on site. He welcomed the trust placed by BAUM Unternehmensgruppe and highlighted that the existing property knowledge and experience with mixed-use properties would ensure a seamless transition and uninterrupted continuation of management.
Continuity in Management
The decision by BAUM Unternehmensgruppe to retain the existing service provider reflects the value of established expertise in technical facility management. Particularly for extensive properties such as the Riethorst Ensemble, this ensures smooth operation and the preservation of the property's value after a change of ownership. The property, with its prominent location in north-east Hanover and its history, thus remains under proven technical administration.
